Anniversary of Delta County 1883-1958—Population

There are about four times as many residents in Orchard City today as there were in April 1912.

A census taken at that time lists 235 persons. Today’s population is between 800 and 1, 0000.

Early Orchard City residents had larger families than couples of today, too. The census show many parents have from five to seven children.
